Off we go! Emotions at the airport as was planned. Got caught in security and Laura's bag searched. Great start. Nevertheless straight through onto the Airbus A380, it's huge! 7 hours later arrived in Dubai airport for a 4 hour wait until our connecting flight to Delhi! Eventually our flight came around and we caught up on some sleep. Arrived in Delhi, big wait for immigration due to Visas etc, that was expected though! Finally out the other side and met our transfer. Onto the hostel, but first there was the journey there! Interesting to say the least. Nearly died in the traffic, there are no rules what so ever, they have 3 lanes, but make 6 lanes just because they can. Constant horns and screeching of the brakes. To sum up driving in India: you need a good horn, good brakes and most importantly good luck!!! After 20+ near misses we made it to our hostel. Well we arrived but didn't think it was our place but they seemed to know our names so we went with it hahaha! After getting settled in and after some sleep we ventured out into the street of chaos, and explored a little. It's just as you'd expect; noisy, smelly, and dirty! Great atmosphere though! Dinner time came so we thought we'd eat at our place for the first night. They took us to some roof top dining which was obviously for the tourists as there was no one up there other than one South African family. We'd thought we must try the curry. Rude not to... It was so good! Defo more curries to come! So that's really it for the first couple of days. See you soon!Â
