Landslide

Today we had to say goodbye to our new community and head of to Pokhara! Off we went at 7am (bare in mind). With a big journey ahead it didn't help that there had been a landslide on one of the Nepalese mountains causing a blockage! Now with the small windy mountains roads you can just imagine the chaos! We travelled 40km in 9 hours...! And then another 200 metres in an extra 5 hours. The landslide had cleared so the traffic was moving a bit, but we only moved 100 more metres until we heard another landslide had occurred! We had been travelling/waiting for 13 hours! Finally we were past the landslide at 10:30pm, which was massive! It was 20 metres of pure rubble and rocks all across the road...chaos! After the rubble we were free, off we went and finally reached the hotel at 1am! Sleep!
