The day of the tour, again! Packed up and checked out of Lub D Bangkok Silom! Great place!! Off we went out on the streets to try and grab a cab. Previously there were cabs everywhere but it seemed to take us an age to find one when we actually needed one!! Finally hopped in and off to our next hotel! Just round the corner and we were there! Bangkok Centre Hotel! This was the hotel where our tour was going to start that evening. We had noticed a pool so grab our "swimmers and thongs" (Learnt from the Aussies) and in we went! Did seem a bit weird swimming in the middle of a city, but it was cool! Grabbed some food and prepared for our tour meeting. By chance there were four different tours starting this evening, so we met loads of people not even knowing if they were on our tour! Eventually we all got our leaders and we knew our new "family". Less of a mix than last tour. Loads of British and as by chance we all live in Surrey area hahah! Irish, Swiss, German and Canadian. Cool little group! Off we went for our first meal! More smashing Thai food and back for bed! Good day, off to Cambodia tomorrow!!
