Time to say goodbye to Vietnam and Tommy K. Today we were flying to Laos, where our trip will continue. After a morning of packing and another quick Banh Mi (The Vietnamese baguette I was talking about) it was time to check out of the last hotel in Vietnam. With this, some people were leaving us as well. Three in total: Julia, Kayleigh and Tommy K. After some emotional goodbyes, we left on the bus with tears in our eyes. Only joking, I'll be seeing Tommy K again in Bangkok, for our final night out! Said our goodbyes and off to the airport. Check in, drop luggage, food and we were on the plane. Only a short plane journey to the Laos capital Vientiane. Although we didn't move time zones it seemed like we had as it was pitch black at 5:30 when we arrived. Arrive at our hotel for the night and popped out for dinner. First taste of Laos food and it could only be a curry. Very very nice! Strolled to the night market in the evening and was tempted by many things but I held off until it was revealed to me that we were all getting anklets. As the girls got the choice I ended up with a bright pink and green one. Not going to lie, it's cool and I'll rock it until I get back to England! Another day, another adventure. Night guys!Â
