Day 40 of our trip, and it's Halloween. Where has the time gone?!!? Anyways where was I, back on the train. Once again 4:30 alarm from Markieeee (CEO). Beep beep, wakey wakey!!! Up we got, and off the train. We were now in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Not for long though. We got straight on a bus and drove to Halong Bay, just short of 4 hours away. Arrived, showered, and back out for a boat trip. No messing about. Now when you type in Vietnam into Google, the images you get are rock formations on the coast, maybe some local people, but the rocks. This boat trip was Vietnam in one. We sailed out off the coast, had a delicious seafood lunch and cruised past these incredible rocks protruding from the sea. It was awesome, obviously Cameras were out, selfies taken and then it was time for the kayaks. So Laura and I had a little bit of history with kayaks, so we decided to not go together hahah!! Tommy K was my partner! Dream team. We paddled around the rocks and caves for a good hour. It was so chilled and relaxing and a certain points you couldn't hear a thing! We then sailed to a viewpoint which looked over the ocean with the rocks in the foreground. Defo a screensaver pic! Back to land and time for a break. Chilled out and then off for dinner followed by a few drinks, as it was Halloween. Probs the best Halloween I've ever had. Peace!
