We set off this morning at 7:30 with our bags packed and our malaria tablets taken ready for the 8 hour journey ahead to Luang Prabang. Not much happened on the journey be honest. We came across two landslides however we were not stuck there for 18 hours like in Nepal. We just sat stationary for a total of 30 minutes each time, and the we stopped off at a view point which was absolutely breathtaking. The views that could be seen were indescribable and no picture could explain what we saw. Everyone captured the view with Matt and I adding a James Bond theme to our pictures (God only knows why) and then we headed back on the road to our next stop being lunch. Noodles consumed and only 4 more hours to go. Once we arrived at our sweet little guest house it had gone 5 so we all headed down to the night market, yet another opportunity to buy more things without the need for justification. Post market we all went for dinner and then hit they hay ready for what tomorrow had install.Â
