8:30 and on our way to the bay, where we would catch our speed boat which would take us to Phi Phi Island. Sun cream was on and Laura had a t-shirt which was to be kept on after what happened last time she went snorkelling. After around 45 minutes on the speed boat we arrived at our first destination. This was Bamboo island. Just like an island out of a film, white sand and clear blue sea. We took many photos and went for a swim before drying off and heading back on the boat. It was on Bamboo Island that we had to say goodbye to Laura's sunglasses. But no worries, they have cheap £2 Ray Bans back on main land. Arrive at our second destination which was the filming ground for the film 'The Beach' starring Leonardo DiCaprio. This beach was jam packed due to the famous film. Tourist packed the beach so the only place to go was the sea. So in for another dip, but with more care as there were signs warning about the Portuguese Man of War Jellyfish. Luckily we were all good. Off for lunch and then we arrived at our snorkelling destinations. With the GoPro in hand we jumped in capturing the many tiger fish swimming below. There were thousands of them and you could touch everyone. They would calmly swim up to your mask and say "Hi". The deeper Laura and I swam the more variety of fish there were. We saw some parrot fish, Angel fish and sea urchins. Luckily this time the sea urchins were deep enough so there wasn't any risk of us getting stabbed. After a another snorkelling destination we headed back to mainland. On the way back, our speed boat hit something causing one engine to fail for a while. Stranded!... Just joking we were back up and running in no time. Back on the beach we walked back to our room and showered before some dinner and then out to a bar. Some people wanted to see a ladyboy show so we went and saw another one, but this time I sat in a safe position. Sadly not a good as the Chiang Mai performance, but still fascinating. After some drinks and a good dance we headed back to bed. Night.
