Thailand is awesome!

Up and awake, off to the beach. Today was a free day so some of us decided to take a trip to the beach in the next cove. This involved grabbing a longboat around the headland. 30 minutes later we were there. Another beautiful beach on the coast of Thailand. As I mentioned a couple of days ago, the sea is very warm which made it easy to stay in for a long period of time. After a few hours of swimming and sunbathing, it was time for lunch. Meanwhile a storm was brewing overhead. In a matter of minutes the whole beach was clearing and crowds of people were heading for shelter. By this point Laura, Jamie, Phoebe and I had grabbed some lunch and were on our way back. This meant grabbing the longboat. We boarded the boat in the pouring rain and set sail. Well this was the most painful boat ride I have ever had. The rain was thundering down and into our faces as we were sailing into the wind. It felt like hail. After surviving what seemed to be paintballs, we hopped off and made our way back. But this time we didn't even care about the rain. We had a natural shower. Washed and dried, Laura and I found some dinner. Seafood, seafood and more seafood. It was bed time, long journey tomorrow.
