Departed KL at 10 and were aiming for Melaka. Another wonderful town in this great country. Arrived and had a nice Malaysian lunch. Nassie Lemak. It was lovely, rice and curried chicken. Really good. Today was a day of exploring Melaka as we were not here for long. We continued walking to the centre, saw the famous church, the lovely river and later on saw the night market. Today we were celebrating our farewell dinner as it is too expensive to eat out in Singapore. So we all sat together for the last time, which was sad in a way. But we all were seeing each other tomorrow so it was okay. Dinner down and off to the night market. We stumbled across two street singers who were great, so we stood by and listened to them for a while before heading back to the hotel to pack and be ready for a 6am dash to the Singapore border.Â
