KL

Back on the bus, Kuala Lumpur bound. Capital city of Malaysia. Beautiful drive into KL, luckily I had front seat meaning I could embrace it all hahahah. Unpacked and it was lunch time. Nom Nom. Bellies full and we took a walk around the city. Started in a local market selling every type of fake possible, so I was in my element. Love it. Past the I Love KL sign. Ended up at one of the biggest malls in the city which was already covered in Christmas decorations. The group split up by this point, so Laura, Jamie, Phoebe and I headed to the tallest free standing twin towers in the world. The Petronas Towers. It was indeed the twin towers in New York before the incident. Incredible, a wonderful sight to see. Obviously as Petronas is the F1 sponsor the building had F1 cars In the entrance and advertisement everywhere. Sadly though, I recently heard after their contract ends, they won't be hosting any more Grand Prix in Malaysia. After picture and videos we headed back to get ready for a sky bar tonight. Bit odd as we were travelling and sorta on a budget. Any ways, dressed in smart casual we headed up. The dress code was a bit of a struggle as we had packed for travelling so we had to purchase some clothing. It was Ladies night so they all got free drinks whilst the 3 of us guys sat there refusing to pay £10 for a beer. Somehow we all got dancing, sober or not. It didn't matter, everyone was up as a big group of "golfing guys" where insisting on busting some moves. So I showed them up and put them back in there place... you know how it is. Hahahahah. Fun night drew to a close and off to bed.
