Cape Trib

Although Laura and I's tour hadn't finished, around three quarters of the group were continuing on into the outback and down to Melbourne. So it was sad to say goodbye to them this morning. Defo be meeting some of them back home! However our trip continued up to Cape Tribulation. On the way up we stopped off at Port Douglas which was lovely and then Mossman where we had a trek through the oldest rainforest in the world, Mossman Gorge just outside the Daintree Rainforest. As we walked around we learnt about the many species of plants and how the aboriginals used them to cure diseases and how they were used for everyday living. It was very hot and humid so we were soaked by the end. Great little adventure though and to cool ourselves off we went to the local waterfall and had a dip in the river. We carried on our journey up to Cape Trib and rocked up at our cool overnight stay. Chilled in the pool, nice a dinner and watched the stars. Sleep well!
