Fraser Island babbbyyy!!! Departed Brisbane and picked up a huge 4x4 bus vehicle thing. I can't explain what it was, it was just massive!! There's no going on Fraser without a 4x4! Roared towards the Fraser Island crossing and hit the beach. Fraser Island is a sand island so you drive along the 75 miles beach that runs up the east. Over the sand dunes, round the rocks and squishing the Jellyfish. It was an awesome journey, bit bumpy but driving with the sea crashing at the wheels was so wicked. We drive half way up the island and stopped at the famous Lake Mckenzie. As we were changing we got distracted by a huge 3 metre carpet python. It was massive, thick as a small log and as long as something 3 metres long ahhaha. I have always wanted to see a snake in the wild, so now I can tick that off the list. Anyways back to why we were there. Lake McKenzie. Blue, fresh, spring water. It was lovely. After an hour or so we then dried off and trekked through the jungle for a while before meeting back with our big beauty of a bus. We headed to our stay for the night, chilled out and visited the beach in the dark. Awesome island, awesome day!
