New Years Day, and had to get up before 10am to check out and then check back in to the same room... Very tired from the night before but we got up and found a place for breakfast. Still amazed from the night before we wondered around the city looking in shops and for any New Year's Day sales. Everywhere was pretty much closed as it was a bit to early. We wondered back to our room to catch up on sleep and made sure everyone made it home. Tom had a 4:30am bus back to Canberra. Dedication from my dude!! Today our tour started up the east coast so slowly one by one people checked in and we got to know everyone before the welcome meeting. 7pm came and as a group we walked (in the rain) to our local pub, grabbed a drink and got to know each other. After a bit of admin and chatting it was time to catch some Z's as it was an early start to our tour! Another adventure begins!! Goodnight.
