Predicted lovely weather so today we got up and out, heading to Manly beach! Grabbed the ferry across the Sydney waters, admiring the Harbour Bridge and Opera House on the way past. 30 mins later we arrived. And headed to the beach. It wasn't too busy when we arrived so we walked along the shoreline and by golly the water is cold. Much different to Asia, where the sea is like a bath! Also noticed the sea was more rough over this side. Was funny watching people learning to surf, it must have been so tough! However the weather didn't turn out as expected and there was a strong current! So lifeguards were on patrol and people had to swim in certain zones. While on our walk we also found a bluebottle jellyfish! This was crazy considering they are very dangerous. Made our way slowly back along the promenade and grabbed some fish and chips to eat on the beach. Was a lovely morning and early afternoon. By the time we had left the beach had filled up and there was no sand left. Back we came and then headed off to a 'Target', the shop to get some work clothes for myself. As I'm working in Perth I needed some work pants. So off we went thinking the bus would be a good idea. An hour and a half later we arrived. 30 mins and then ventured back. Got back around 8:45, and that was that. Time to chill and then off to bed.Â
