Surfing today! On the road and off to Byron Bay. On the way we stopped at Sharks beach to catch some waves before hand! Well this surfing experience was completely different to Indonesia, where the ocean was calm and not to manic! Australias east coast was another story! Waves coming in from every direction every 5 seconds! It was nuts. So had our intro and hit the waves head on! It took so long to get out to where you could catch a wave. But soon got the hang of it and was standing in no time. Another awesome surfing lesson and a much different one! With sand up the trunks and water in the ears, we caught the bus to our hostel in Bryon Bay. A funky little hostel just like you'd imagine an Oz hostel! Straight away hit up the swimming pool to wash ourselves down. Chilled out and then headed to the local park by the beach to eat dinner and experience the local vibes. They were very chilled with music players in the parks, skateboarders out and about, and surf dudes everywhere. Awesome atmosphere! Time for bed for a big day tomorrow!Â
